WHOLE BEAN COFFEE
/
LIGHT ROAST
Reminds us of walking through a late spring harvest, plucking berries off the vine and enjoying the fresh floral breeze.
The Sidama region produces some of Ethiopia’s highest-grade coffee thanks to its fertile highlands, abundant water sources, and elevations that create cool temperatures and slow cherry maturation. With over 100 inches of annual rainfall and extensive cultivation, the region supports more than 50 cooperatives and 200 washing stations, making it a central hub for quality coffee production.
Built in 2021, the Yaye Washing Station focuses on innovation and precision, exemplified by the Odakko project—a collaboration between Testi Coffees and Cafe Imports that reflects four years of research and planning. Sourcing cherries from 50 smallholders in nearby villages, the project aims to produce a traceable, single-variety coffee with a unique flavor profile. Equipped with advanced facilities and a strong commitment to both quality and community support, Yaye has quickly established itself within the specialty coffee landscape.
